WFMU – The longest running freeform radio station which boasts a wide variety of commercial free shows.  It’s very easy to get lost listening to all the archived shows.  Dr Dan’s favourite shows include Sophisticated Boom Boom, Surface Noise, Three Chord Monte & Todd-o-phonic Todd.

Cha Cha Charming – The website of Sheila B, one of my favourite record collectors/dj’s, who’s 60’s themed website and all-girl playlists will make you smile.

Jakarta Records – Bangin’ playlists from a variety of artists, particularly Habibi Funk.

Flea Market Funk – All vinyl website featuring soul, funk, jazz, hip-hop and reggae playlists
